Do a little or do a lot. The bottom line is that recycling makes sense, it costs less than the alternatives, saves energy, reduces pollution, protects the environment, preserves natural resources, creates jobs, reduces the need for landfill space, reduces the contamination of water and air, reduces our dependence on foreign countries, and reduces production costs for businesses. Don’t forget that recycling is easy, it saves you money, it makes you money, it is in our self-interest, it is patriotic, and it is the right, as well as responsible, thing to do.
