To Tweet or Not To Tweet

By Martie Hevia | Blue Beach Song™

Okay, I’ll admit that I got a Twitter account last night because it seemed like the thing to do at the time. I am a songwriter, a photographer, a writer and everyone insisted that was a great way to promote my stuff.

But like a tattoo you got one night because it seemed like the thing to do, you wake up in the morning wondering why? (Although I have never actually gotten a tattoo, I can assure you that is exactly what I would be thinking in the morning – WHY?!?!.)

Blue Beach Song Twitter

Do I really want to know when someone is eating breakfast or what movie they saw or what the “fake Jon Stewart” has to say, hmm, not really, so I woke up this morning wondering why.

But, like people who have tattoos, I feel compelled to tell others about my Twitter account, so, I might as well show it off. Here it is, here is the link: http://twitter.com/bluebeachsong. Pretty cool, huh?

Okay, you can stop ooohing and aaaahing. (And, no, it doesn’t hurt.)

If you would like to follow me on Twitter, please do, you will get my tweets with updates on my blog posts, products, music, and some random musings. You will need an account, but it is very easy to set up. If you already have an account, please send me a direct message or mention using @bluebeachsong in your own tweets. (I just learned that recently!)

You know, the more I look at it, the more I think in time it might grow on me.
